Print this support article
All franking machine users must have a valid franking licence issued by An Post.

Pitney Bowes will apply to An Post on your behalf to licence your franking machine.

The licence includes:
  • User’s name and address
  • Name and number of the Model of the Franking Equipment
  • The serial number of the Franking Equipment (Meter)
  • Unique die number
You must inform Pitney Bowes if you change your address or Company name; we will then advise An Post who will issue you with a new licence.

Further details of the terms and conditions of your franking licence can be obtained from An Post .
