How to turn the auto scale feature on and off on a DM300C, DM400C, and more

Learn how to turn the auto scale feature on and off on the DM300C, DM400C, and DM475.

  1. Press the Weigh / Rate button 
  2. If necessary, press the Down Arrow button to scroll through the menu 
  3. Select Turn Auto Scale On / Off
    • If the scale is On, the system prompts to Turn Auto Scale Off  or Keep It Turned On. Select the appropriate option 
    • If the scale is Off, the system prompts to Turn Auto Scale On or Keep It Turned Off. Select the appropriate option 
  4. Depending on the changes made, the system will do one of these:
    • If the scale is turned On or Off, the Home screen returns with either the scale On or Off
    • To keep the scale in its current mode, return to the Weigh / Rate menu
