Error code: 031A410001 , how to resolve on the Connect + 500W, Connect + 1000, and more

Issue

The Connect+ displays error code 031A-41-0001 and will not print.

Cause

A sensor calibration has failed.

Resolution

Follow these steps to resolve you tape sensor issue:
  1. Remove the tape from the system.
  2. Go to your Home screen by tapping the green house at the top of the screen.
  3. Select Shut Down from the lower right corner
  4. Select Shut Down from the menu
  5. Select Shut Down on the pop up
  6. Insert the tape one inch into the tape feed area
  7. Wait for your screen to turn black, and for the blue light on the front of the machine to go out. This may take several minutes.
  8. After your machine has been off for ten seconds, press the Power button to turn your Connect+ back on
If your issue is not resolved, contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Have your model number ready.
