"No print head detected" message on the DM100i and DM125

Try checking connections on your print head to resolve the "No print head detected" message on the DM100i and DM125.
Products affected: DM100®i and DM125™


"No print head detected" message displays and the meter does not print postage.


The print head is missing or faulty.


Follow these steps to check the print head:
  1. Remove ink cartridge and print head from meter. For instructions, see Replacing the print head on the DM100i and DM125.
  2. Check for bent pins on the meter wall.
    • If any pins are bent, contact client support.
    • If the pins are not bent, place the print head and the ink cartridge back into meter.
  3. Close the latch and the top cover.
