How to resolve Manufacturing Mode on a mailstation or mailstation2

Issue

The meter displays Manufacturing Mode, and will not turn on.

Cause

The meter has experienced an internal error preventing normal operation.

Resolution

A simple restart may resolve this warning message. Follow these steps to safely restart your meter:
  1. Unplug your power cord, then wait one to three minutes
  2. Plug your power cord back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet. If this message does not clear, or if it returns, your machine requires further assistance.
Contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Have your model number ready.
