Carrier pickups and drop-offs in PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise
You can schedule package pickups and find package drop-off locations for various carriers in PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.

Scheduling a Canada Post pickup
Schedule a package pickup for Canada Post varies depending upon what type of Canada Post account you have.
PitneyWorks Canada Post account
- From the Shipping menu, select Canada Post Pickup. You are directed to the carrier's website to arrange the pickup.
- On the carrier's website, provide the required information to complete the process.
Your own Canada Post account
When using your own Canada Post account, you can schedule a carrier package pickup through PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise. Pickup charges vary based on your carrier account type.
- From the Shipping menu, select Schedule Carrier Pickup.
- From the Select Pickup Carrier menu, choose Canada Post.
- Select the sender address from the Sender Address menu.
- Enter the sender's email address and phone number if they are not already filled in.
- If you have more than one account for the carrier, select the account for the pickup from the Carrier Account menu.
- Under Select Shipments For Pickup, choose whether you want all of today's Canada Post shipments picked up, or whether you want to choose only some Canada Post shipments for the pickup.
- If choosing shipments, use the filters at the top to find the desired packages, select them, and click Choose.
- Confirm the number and weight of the packages.
- Select the Pickup Date and time.
- Select the Pickup Location.
- (Optional) Enter Pickup Reference notes.
- (Optional) Add any Additional Notes for the carrier.
- If required, select the Payment Method.
- If you use cost accounting and wish to charge this pickup to a cost account, select a Cost Account for Pickup.
- Select Packages are properly sealed and ready for shipment.
- Select Confirm Pickup.
- Confirm the information and select Print Confirmation.
Scheduling a Purolator pickup
- From the Shipping menu, select Schedule Carrier Pickup.
- From the Select Pickup Carrier menu, choose Purolator.
- Select the sender address from the Sender Address menu.
- Enter the sender's email address and phone number if they are not already filled in.
- If you have more than one account for the carrier, select the account for the pickup from the Carrier Account menu.
- Under Select Shipments For Pickup, choose whether you want all of today's Purolator shipments picked up, or whether you want to choose only some Purolator shipments for the pickup.
- If choosing shipments, use the filters at the top to find the desired packages, select them, and click Choose.
- Confirm the number and weight of the packages.
- Select the Pickup Date and time.
- Select the Pickup Location.
- (Optional) Enter Pickup Reference notes.
- (Optional) Add any Additional Notes for the carrier.
- If required, select the Payment Method.
- If you use cost accounting and wish to charge this pickup to a cost account, select a Cost Account for Pickup.
- Select Packages are properly sealed and ready for shipment.
- Select Confirm Pickup.
- Confirm the information and select Print Confirmation.
Scheduling a pickup for other carriers
You can schedule a package pickup through PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise for some carrier accounts.
Pickup charges vary based on your carrier account type. For most carriers, pickup charges are only available after the pickup has been scheduled. Only UPS provides the pickup charges prior to scheduling.
- From the Shipping menu, select Schedule Carrier Pickup.
- From the Select Pickup Carrier menu, choose the carrier for which you wish to schedule the pickup.
- Select the sender address from the Sender Address menu.
- Enter the sender's email address and phone number if they are not already filled in.
- If you have more than one account for the carrier, select the account for the pickup from the Carrier Account menu.
- Under Select Shipments For Pickup, choose whether you want all shipments for this carrier picked up, or whether you want to choose only some shipments for the pickup.
- If choosing shipments, use the filters at the top to find the desired packages, select them, and click Choose.
- Confirm the number and weight of the packages.
- Select the Pickup Date and time.
- Select the Pickup Location.
- (Optional) Enter Pickup Reference notes.
- (Optional) Add any Additional Notes for the carrier.
- If required, select the Payment Method.
- Select Packages are properly sealed and ready for shipment.
- Select Confirm Pickup.
- Confirm the information and select Print Confirmation.
Canceling a pickup
If you need to cancel a pickup, go to the Pickup History tab.
Finding a package drop-off location
You can find package drop-off locations for various carriers in PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.
- From the Shipping menu, select Drop Off Locations.
- Select the Carrier.
- Select the Country.
- Enter the Postal Code.
- Select the Search Radius.
- Select Search.
- To view the details of a particular location, select the arrow next to it to expand it.
- To email the information, select Email, enter the email address, and select Email.
