The Void button is not available if:

  • The label is older than 30 days (UPS and FedEx)
  • A FedEx manifest has been printed (FedEx only)

To void a label:

  1. Select Shipping > Void a Label. Shipments eligible for refund or voiding are shown.
  2. Select the arrow next to the shipment to expand it.
  3. Select Void Label or Request Refund (varies by carrier).
  4. Select the box to confirm.
  5. If you wish to notify the sender and recipient via email, select the Send notifications to box. The email will be sent to the same addresses that were selected under Email the tracking number when the original label was created.
  6. Select Continue.

To void a label immediately after printing it:

  1. In the confirmation box for the label you just printed, select Void Label or Request Refund.
  2. Select the box to confirm.
  3. If you wish to notify the sender and recipient via email, select the Send notifications to box. The email will be sent to the same addresses that were selected under Email the tracking number when the original label was created.
  4. Select Continue.

When you request a refund for Canada Post shipping labels, the postage amount is credited to your PitneyWorks® or Canada Post account. Your PitneyWorks® or Canada Post bill will list both your postage charges and voided shipping labels (credits). If you use a voided shipping label, the credit will be reversed and a “use of a voided label” penalty will be applied and will appear on your bill.
