Setting up a Canada Post account in PitneyShip Pro

To ship parcels with Canada Post, Canada Post require that you set up your PitneyShip Pro Shipping profile.

To ship with Canada Post, you must first set up your Canada Post account in PitneyShip Pro.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

  1. Select Settings > Manage Carriers.
  2. Select Add Carrier.
  3. In the Carrier Display Name field, enter a name for the account.
  4. From the Select Carrier menu, select Canada Post.
  5. Under Access Level, select which divisions and locations will have access to this account:
    • Enterprise: All divisions and locations
    • Division: Select the desired divisions
    • Location: Select the desired locations
  6. Under Payment Method, select your payment method for this carrier.
  7. Connect your PitneyShip Pro account to your Canada Post customer account:
    • If you already have a Canada Post account:
      1. Select Connect my Canada Post Account.

      2. Select the Pitney Bowes Supplier Account Number relevant to your location from the Select Supplier Account Number menu.
      3. Select Add Carrier. You are redirected to the Canada Post website.
      4. Sign in to your Canada Post account.
    • If you do not yet have a Canada Post account:
      1. Select Create new Canada Post Account.

      2. Scroll down and select the Pitney Bowes Supplier Account Number relevant to your location from the Select Supplier Account Number menu.
      3. Make note of the Canada Post customer number and postal code that are displayed on the screen.
      4. Select Add Carrier. You are redirected to the Canada Post website.
      5. On the Canada Post website, create a business profile. You will need the customer number and postal code noted earlier.
      6. Follow the steps to verify your new Canada Post account and then sign in to it.
      7. Complete any additional steps required by the Canada Post website.
  8. Return to PitneyShip Pro. Your Canada Post account is now linked to PitneyShip Pro.
