Dropping off a package with a reserved locker in the Locker Management Module

As the mailroom administrator, you can reserve a locker ahead of time so that an assigned locker is available for a specific package as soon as you sign in at the kiosk

As a mailroom administrator or locker operator, you can reserve a locker ahead of time using the web application so that an assigned locker is available for a specific package as soon as you sign in at the kiosk.

Reserving a locker using the web application

  1. Select Lockers > Reserve Locker.

  2. Select Deliver.

  3. Enter the Package Details.

    1. Scan the carrier barcode, enter the tracking number manually, or click + to generate a unique tracking number. All available package information is automatically filled in.
    2. Under Package Type, select Individual or Department.
    3. In the Recipient field, start typing the name of the recipient or department.
      • The name must already be in the system's address book.
      • Once you enter the first 3 letters of the recipient's name, the system displays all of the names and addresses beginning with those letters.
      • Select the recipient.
  4. Enter the Locker Details.

    1. Select your location from the Location menu.
    2. If the recipient needs a wheelchair-accessible locker (35 - 123 cm from the floor), select Requires Accessible Locker.
    3. From the Locker Bank menu, select the locker bank. Only locker banks assigned to you are shown.
    4. Select the required Locker Size.
  5. Select Reserve.

Dropping off the package

  1. Tap the Log in icon on the Home screen. Follow the prompts to scan your code or enter your login details.

  2. (Optional) If your locker bank has a handheld scanner, tap Open Locker with Handheld Scanner.
  3. Scan the shipping label barcode or enter the tracking ID of the package.

  4. The kiosk screen displays the reserved locker number and shows that it's open. If the locker fails to open, choose another locker. If the package does not fit, tap Does not fit.
  5. Place the package in the locker and close the door. Return to the kiosk.
  6. If you have other packages to drop off, repeat steps 3 through 5 for each package. If this is the last package, tap Done.
  7. Tap the Log in icon on the Home screen, then tap Log out.
