Renaming a View By column in PitneyAnalytics

You can rename certain columns in the summary reports View By menu to suit your enterprise needs.

The following limitations apply:

• These renamed columns will only apply to your summary reports. They will not be shown in your details reports.
• Your existing scheduled reports will not show the renamed columns. If you change a View By column name, you must reschedule the report.
• These columns cannot be renamed: Division, City/State, Locations, Products, Carriers, Carrier display name, Users, Product Type, Business Account (BPN), Custom fields, PBP account, Agent/User.
• Changes to Group By fields are tab-specific (e.g., Sending, Receiving, Lockers, Refill); edits do not carry over between tabs.

Renaming a column

1. Select Analytics > Reports.
   
2. Select the report tab. By default, the Sending tab will open and Spend Summary will be selected.
3. Click the View By menu, then scroll down and click View By Options.
4. Select the Edit icon next to the column you wish to rename.
   
5. Click Save.
6. Edit additional columns, or scroll down and click Save at the bottom of the dialog box.
7. Click the View By menu, then select the renamed column.

Resetting a column name

1. Select Analytics > Reports.
2. Select the report tab. By default, the Sending tab will open and Spend Summary will be selected.
3. Click the View By menu, then scroll down and click View By Options.
4. Select the Edit icon next to the column you wish to rename.
   
5. Click Reset.
6. Click Save at the bottom of the dialog box.
