PitneyAnalytics Release Notes for version 1.109.0 (July 24, 2025)
Products affected: PitneyAnalytics®

What's New

Applying surcharges to Stamps

Clients can now add surcharges to stamps. These surcharges will show up in both Shipment Detail Reports and Spend Summary Reports.

Shipment Detail Report Enhancements:

  • The Addl. Surcharges column will now include surcharges for stamps.
  • The Total + Addl. Surcharges column will be updated.
  • The Addl. Surcharges Name column will show the correct surcharge names for stamps.

Spend Summary Report Enhancements:

  • Stamp surcharges will appear in the Addl. Surcharges column.
  • The Total + Addl. Surcharges column will reflect the updated total spend, including stamp surcharges.

Optional password protection for Cost Accounts

The platform now supports optional password protection for Cost Accounts, providing an extra layer of security for sensitive financial data. Administrators can enable password requirements for selected Cost Accounts as needed. When users initiate a manual transaction in Analytics and select a password-protected Cost Account, the system prompts them to enter the correct password. This password protection also applies to the CSV import functionality for manual transactions. If the correct password is not provided or no password is entered for a protected account, the user will not be allowed to proceed with the transaction.

Latest Updates

Improved Carrier performance tracking

Previously, clients couldn't see how different carriers were performing in terms of on-time deliveries. To solve this, we've added the Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) into the workflow. This date is now calculated at the time of parcel induction, specifically during the manifestation event, rather than at the time of label creation. This change provides a more accurate baseline for measuring carrier performance.

Shipment Detail Report:

  • The Late by column now includes delays of less than one day (e.g., <1 day).
  • The Delayed by column continues to show delays in Days: Hours: Minutes format.

Sending Dashboard:

The Shipment Performance chart has been updated to reflect the new on-time delivery calculation logic.

Carrier & Services Dashboard:

  • The Delivery Performance by Carrier chart now uses the revised calculation for on-time deliveries.
  • The Delivery After Estimated Date chart has been enhanced to display delays of less than one day (e.g., <1 day), offering finer granularity.

Enhanced Shipment Detail Report with timestamps

To improve delivery time accuracy and support, timestamps are now included in all date fields within the Shipment Detail Report. Previously, several date fields lacked time data, limiting the ability to calculate precise delivery durations. This update addresses that gap by adding time values in the HH:MM:SS format.

The following fields will now include timestamps:

  • Shipment Create Date
  • Delivery Date

Additionally, the field Estimated Delivery has been renamed to Carrier Estimated Delivery Date.
