Mail jammed on the Connect+ Series, SendPro P
Open the covers, remove the mailpiece and clean the feed deck with canned air to resolve jammed mail.
Products affected: Connect+® 500W, 1000, 2000, 3000, SendPro® P 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000
Issue
A mailpiece jammed.
Cause
A mailpiece piece entered the machine but did not leave.
Resolution
Remove the jammed mailpiece:
- Open the top cover and printer cover.
- Open the blue jam release that is holding your mailpiece.
- Remove the mailpiece.
- Use a can of non-flammable canned air and, working from the left side of the machine to the exit, blow air on the feed deck that the envelopes and tape sheets travel on. Make sure to spend enough time in this step to ensure that dust and debris are removed.
- Close all jam releases and covers.
