PitneyShip Pro Release Notes version 1.132.0 (October 9, 2026)
What's New
Lithium Battery and Dry Ice Services
PitneyShip Enterprise now supports Lithium Battery and Dry Ice special services for eligible UPS and FedEx shipments originating from Canada. Users can select applicable special services directly during shipment creation instead of using external carrier tools or manual processes. FedEx shipments support Lithium Battery and Dry Ice services, while UPS shipments support Dry Ice services. Available options are automatically displayed based on shipment eligibility, with applicable service codes included during label creation. Users can also enter Dry Ice weight, with validation performed before shipment submission, and select Lithium Battery options from predefined values.
Improved BPN validation for Supply Ordering
The platform now validates Account Number/BPN (Business Partner Number) information for locations to help prevent supply-ordering issues. The BPN field remains optional, but when a value is entered, the system checks its validity and displays a warning if it is invalid. Locations with an invalid BPN cannot access Supply Links until a valid BPN is provided. Existing invalid BPNs will not be automatically corrected, and previously available Supply Links for those existing locations may remain visible.
Latest Updates
CPSC Compliance information for U.S. International Shipments
International shipments to the United States now support Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) compliance information for supported carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and DHL Express. When entering commodity or customs details, users can select a CPSC Filing Type to indicate whether the product is registered with the CPSC Product Registry or qualifies for a CPSC disclaimer. Based on the selection, users can provide applicable registry, certifier, or intended-use information. Optional product identification fields are also available, including SKU, Part Number, GTIN, UPC, EAN, MPN, and Other. All CPSC fields are optional and are subject only to carrier-specific maximum length requirements.
EU De Minimis Customs compliance updates
International shipments entering EU27 countries from non-EU origins now support additional customs information when shipping with UPS, FedEx, and DHL Express. For eligible UPS shipments, users must specify the Shipper Type and Consignee Type as either a business or consumer. The Customs Details section also includes additional product identification fields, such as Item ID Type, Item/Product ID, EU Customs Clearance Exemption, and Manufacturer Product IDs. Available identification types include SKU, Part Number, GTIN, UPC, EAN, MPN, and Other. Carrier-specific character limits and validation requirements apply.
