Adding postage to the mailstation series

The meter deducts the amount of your postage from the available funds on your meter. When your meter funds are low, you must add or refill more postage from your Pitneyworks or PB Postage account.

 

Step 1: Connect your meter to the Pitney Bowes Data Centre

Select a connection method for your meter:

Step 2: Add postage

Follow these steps to add postage:

  1. Press Funds at your meter. The display shows the amount of postage funds still in the meter.
  2. Use the Review keys to scroll to Refill Postage? Press Enter / Yes.
    1. If Refill Postage? does not appear:
      1. Press Lock to enter sleep mode. Press Yes/ Enter to confirm.
      2. Press any key to wake your meter from sleep mode.
      3. If necessary, enter the password for the lock code (this is different from an account password - see your supervisor if you need help.) Press Enter / Yes.
      4. Press Funds and try the review arrows again.
  3. Key in your refill amount, whole numbers only.
  4. Press Enter / Yes when the refill amount confirmation prompt appears.
  5. Your meter connects to the Pitney Bowes Data Centre. Status screens display to show your progress.
  6. When the process is complete, the refill message appears. Press Enter / Yes.
  7. When prompted, insert an envelope or tape sheet in your meter. After your receipt prints, your meter returns to the main menu.
