Manually changing the phone number dialed on the DM100i

Check to see if you need to change the meter's connection phone number to successfully connect.
Product affected: DM100®i (P7EC)

Step 1: Upgrade to a SmartLink device by October 1, 2022

In order to avoid disruptions to your mail operations, we recommend that you upgrade to a Smartlink device before October 1st, 2022.

Step 2: Change your phone number

To change the phone number that the meter dials to connect to the Pitney Bowes Data Center:
  1. Press Options.
  2. Press Page Down twice.
  3. Select Connect-Data Center.
  4. Select Phone Parameters.
  5. Select Change PbP Number.
  6. When the message Do not change this number unless instructed by PB appears, press Enter/Yes.
  7. Clear the existing number by pressing No and enter the phone number: 1-844-449-7224.  Do not enter a dialing prefix, such as '9,' with the phone number.
  8. Select OK.
  9. Press the Home button to return to home screen.
