Applying for a credit limit increase for your Purchase Power line of credit
Need additional credit for postage or shipping? You can request a permanent or temporary increase to your Purchase Power credit line through Your Account.
Before you begin
- You must be registered for Your Account.
- Temporary credit limit increases require:
- Payment method (ACH or wire only)
- Payment date
- Payment confirmation number
- Payment amount

- Increases your credit limit moving forward
- Best for ongoing business needs
Temporary credit limit increase
- Increases your credit limit for up to 2 business days
- Best for short-term postage or shipping needs
- Requires payment information when you submit your request
Request a credit limit increase
- Sign in to the Pitney Bowes Your Account online portal.
- Select Your Account.
- Select Postage > Credit Line Balance.
- Locate the appropriate account and select Increase Credit Limit.
- Complete the Business Information form and select Next.
- Select either Permanent Line Increase or Temporary Line Increase.
- Enter:
- The total credit limit amount needed.
- The reason for the increase.
- If requesting a temporary increase, provide:
- Payment method
- Payment date
- Confirmation number
- Payment amount
- Add authorized contact information:
- Primary contact (required)
- Secondary contact (optional)
- Review and accept the terms and conditions.
- Enter your name and select Submit.
Important information about temporary increases
- Your Purchase Power account must be in good standing.
- Accounts that are past due or in an unfavorable status are not eligible for temporary credit limit increases.
- If you do not have your payment information available, consider requesting a permanent credit limit increase instead.
After you submit
- All requests are subject to review and approval.
- Permanent increase requests are typically approved immediately.
- Temporary increase requests may take up to 24 hours.
- Larger requests may take up to 3 business days.
- Once approved, your new credit limit is available immediately.
- The updated credit limit may not appear in Your Account until the next business day.
