Clearing envelopes from the vertical envelope transport on the DI900, DI950, and Relay 5000-8000

Clear any material stalled in the vertical envelope transport section of your inserter.

Clear any material stalled in the vertical envelope transport section of your inserter. 
 


Follow these steps to clear material from the vertical envelope transport section of your inserter:
  1. Squeeze the two blue handles.
  2. Remove any stalled envelopes. Due to the tight clearance, it is easier to remove envelopes one at a time.
  3. After removing any material, open the door on the back of the high capacity envelope feeder (HCEF)
    and check for and remove any additional stalled pieces.
IMPORTANT: If material stalls in this area frequently, adjust the HCEF separator gap.
