Screen is on but the power light turns off on the SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+, SendPro C Auto

Unplug the device then leave the screen on until the internal battery dies if the screen is on but the power light is off.
Products affected: SendPro® C Lite, SendPro® C, SendPro®+, SendPro® C Auto (2H00, 8H00, 9H00)

Issue

The screen is on but the power light is off, or the screen is on but the power light turns off while the device is starting up.

Cause

The screen has not shut down properly.

Resolution

The screen must shut down before normal operation can take place:

  1. Unplug the device.
  2. Leave the screen on until the internal battery dies (5 - 6 hours).
  3. Plug the device back in.
  4. Wait one hour for the battery to charge.
  5. Press the power button to turn the device on.

Important: When turning off the device, wait for the 10-second timer to complete, then tap anywhere on the screen.
