New Features

This section describes the major new features or enhancements that are included in this release.

SendSuite Link. WildFly Upgraded to 11

In keeping with current technology, WildFly - a critical component for SendSuite Link - has been upgraded to version 11.

Installer. Increased Security

Additional measures have been taken to encrypt sensitive information relative to system operation.

SendSuite Link. Upgraded Java Support

SendSuite Link now installs and supports JRE 1.8 Build 191

Smart Client. Group Delivery

Users may now search by Employee/Recipient name when using Group Delivery.

System. Authentication Security.

Available in General Settings, the following improvements have been made to authentication security:

  • Login Password Attempts: The number of failed login attempts that must be reached before the user account is locked.
  • User Account Lockout (in minutes): The duration of an account lockout due to reaching the maximum allowable failed attempts.
  • Password Complexity: Choose whether to enable the following password complexity rules:
    • Minimum 8 characters in length
    • At least 1 upper case letter
    • At least 1 lower case letter
    • At least 1 numerical character
    • At least 1 special character

SendSuite Mobile. Employee Information for Labels.

Labels for printing from SendSuite Mobile may now contain employee/recipient information.

Support Items

This section includes items that have been raised via Support and escalated to Development for resolution within this release.

SendSuite Tracking. Delivery by Pouch ID.

Resolved an issue whereby delivering a pouch using the Pouch ID would cause a new pouch record to be created instead of updating the pouch.

SendSuite Mobile. Manifesting.

Corrected a problem in which signal disruption during syncing would cause all records in the manifest to disappear.

System. Security.

Additional measures were implemented to prevent malicious SQL injection.

System. Security.

Improvements to product security have been made to protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).

SendSuite Admin. ETL Security.

The ETL file upload function in SendSuite Admin will now scan files for malicious content before uploading.

Smart Client. Error Saving a Record.

Corrected a problem whereby data modified in a subscreen for a record would throw an error upon saving.

SendSuite Tracking. USPS Integration.

Resolved an issue causing an invalid date/time stamp to be associated with package records transmitted to USPS.

Smart Client. Bulk Delivery Timestamp

When using Bulk Delivery, affected records will now have the correct date/time stamp applied.

SendSuite Admin. Log Management.

To prevent unnecessary hard disk space consumption, Admin>Setup>Enterprise>General System Settings now offers users an option to set the number of days to retain logging records; older records will be purged

SendSuite Tracking. Decode Formats.

Decode formats for USPS have been updated.

SendSuite Tracking. Installer.

Corrected an SQL script issue that would result in "Error 27506 Error executing script dbupgrade...".
