Checking for postal rates or software updates on the SendPro MailCenter 1000, 2000, and 3000

Check for postal rates or software updates to ensure that you are printing accurate postage.

The SendPro MailCenter meters update postal rates and software automatically. Keep your meter turned on and connected to your network 24 hours a day to allow any updates to be downloaded.

Even though your device checks for updates automatically, follow these steps to check for USPS rate and software updates manually at any time:

1. Select Rates and Updates from the Home screen. If updates are available, the meter begins the download and shows the amount of time required to complete it.
2. Select Install Updates when the meter prompts you.
3. A countdown message appears beginning at 5:00 minutes. The meter automatically installs the update when the countdown reaches 0:00 minutes.
   • Select Install now if you want to install the updates immediately or without delay. Follow the prompts to complete the update installation.
   • Select Install later if you want to install the updates at another time. The meter opens the Rates and Updates Scheduler. You can use the scheduler to postpone the installation up to 4 times.
