E-Z Seal® leak on the SendPro MailCenter

If your SendPro® MailCenter has an E-Z Seal® solution leak, check to ensure that the solution bottle cap is tightly closed and that the cap's valve springs back up when pressed.
Products affected: SendPro® MailCenter 1000, SendPro® MailCenter 2000, SendPro® MailCenter 3000

Issue

E-Z Seal solution leaks from the meter.

Cause

  • The E-Z Seal solution bottle may be leaking.
  • There may be an internal leak.

Resolution

If you have a E-Z Seal solution leak, check to ensure that the solution bottle cap is tightly closed and that the cap's valve springs back up when pressed.

  1. Ensure that the cap is tight and not cross-threaded.
  2. With the cap face up, press the valve in the center of the cap. It should go down and spring back up.

Important: If you have a tape moistening unit, you will have 2 sealer bottles.
