Installing the PitneyShip Cube driver on an additional computer for PitneyShip or PitneyShip Pro

Learn how to install the PitneyShip Cube driver on an additional computer.

After initially installing your PitneyShip Cube, you may need to install the driver on another computer.

Select your connection type:

Wired

Select your operating system:

Windows

  1. Log in to PitneyShip or PitneyShip Pro on the additional computer.
  2. Select Support and download the PitneyShip Cube driver.

  3. Once the download is complete, go to your downloads folder and double-click the PB_Printer_and_Scale_driver.exe file.
  4. When the installer window opens, accept the license agreement and click Next.
  5. On the installation Directory, click Next.
  6. Click Finish. After a few moments, the Seagull Driver Wizard will open.
  7. To install printer drivers, click Next.
  8. When asked, "How is this printer going to be attached?" you must select USB. Follow the instructions to connect the PitneyShip Cube USB cord to the computer. Then power on the PitneyShip Cube.
  9. Once the PitneyShip Cube is powered on, click Next to install the Plug and Play printer.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Then click Finish. The files will then be installed.
  12. Click Close when the Wizard is complete.
  13. Ensure that you have installed DeviceHub on the new computer. See Installing DeviceHub for PitneyShip and PitneyShip Cube.

Mac

  1. Log in to PitneyShip or PitneyShip Pro on the additional computer.
  2. Select Support and download the PitneyShip Cube driver.

  3. When the install window opens, click Continue.
  4. Click Install.
  5. If prompted, enter your Mac password and select Install Software. The software will then download. This download could take a few minutes.
  6. Once successfully installed, select Close.
  7. Connect the PitneyShip Cube USB cable to your Mac computer.
  8. Connect the PitneyShip Cube power cord.
  9. Turn on the PitneyShip Cube and wait a few seconds.
  10. Ensure that you have installed DeviceHub on the new computer. See Installing DeviceHub for PitneyShip and PitneyShip Cube.

Wireless (Wi-Fi)

Before you begin

If you have not already set your PitneyShip Cube up on a Wi-Fi network using the PitneyShip mobile app, please complete that process before attempting a Wi-Fi installation on a Mac or Windows computer. See Installing PitneyShip Cube using the PitneyShip mobile app. Once your PitneyShip Cube has established a Wi-Fi connection, you can continue on to download the driver.

Select your operating system:

Windows

  1. Log in to PitneyShip or PitneyShip Pro on the additional computer.
  2. Select Support and download the PitneyShip Cube driver.

  3. Once the download is complete, open the installer.
  4. On the Select Destination Location window, click Next.
  5. On the Folder Exists window, click Yes.
  6. Select the Pitney Bowes Printer and Scale.
  7. Click Install.
  8. Once the installation is complete, verify the installation was successful. Search Printers & Scanners on your computer. Pitney Bowes Printer and Scale will be listed as an available printer.
  9. Ensure that you have installed DeviceHub on the new computer. See Installing DeviceHub for PitneyShip and PitneyShip Cube.

Mac

  1. Log in to PitneyShip or PitneyShip Pro on the additional computer.
  2. Select Support and download the PitneyShip Cube driver.

  3. Once the download is complete, open the installer and click Continue.
  4. Choose a download destination and click Continue.
  5. Click Install.
  6. When prompted, enter your password and click Install Software.
  7. On the The installation was successful screen, click Close.
  8. Go to Printers & Scanners.
  9. Click the + icon to add the printer.
  10. Select the Bixolon Printer and Scale.
  11. Click the Use dropdown and select PitneyBowes Printer and Scale.
  12. Click Add.
  13. Using a browser window, go to http://localhost:631/admin.
  14. Click Manage Printers.
  15. Select Pitney Bowes Printer and Scale.
  16. Click the Maintenance dropdown and select Print Test Page. This will perform a test print to ensure the installation was successful.
  17. Ensure that you have installed DeviceHub on the new computer. See Installing DeviceHub for PitneyShip and PitneyShip Cube.
