By default, DeviceHub is updated automatically. As an administrator, you can choose to turn off updates for the users in your enterprise so that you can control the installation.

Products affected: PitneyShip® Pro, PitneyShip® Enterprise

By default, DeviceHub is updated automatically. As an administrator, you can choose to turn off updates for the users in your enterprise so that you can control the installation.

Each time a new DeviceHub version is released, administrators receive a "DeviceHub Version Update" notification on the day of the release and again on the third day after the release. If you want to manage the deployment, you can download both Windows MSI and Mac PKG installers.

If you disable DeviceHub updates, your users will not receive automatic updates, and they will also not be able to update DeviceHub manually.

  1. When you see the notification message, select Go To My Devices. If you have already closed the message, you can go to Settings > My Devices.
