Setting SFTP options in PitneyAnalytics

Configure the Secure FTP server connection for the server where your scheduled reports will be stored in PitneyAnalytics.

  • Configure the Secure FTP server connection for the server where your scheduled reports will be stored.

    Important: The credentials must be entered by each user who uses SFTP for scheduled reports.

    1. Select Analytics > Reports.
      select Analytics > Reports
    2. Click Export > SFTP Options.
      select Export > SFTP Options
    3. Enter the SFTP server information. If you need help, ask your IT administrator for the file access information and credentials.
      • SFTP Folder Path: Make sure the path is correct and accessible.
      • SFTP Server URL: Format as IP_Address:Port (default port is 22)
        Example: sftp-ppd.sendpro360.pitneybowes.com:22
      • Username & Password – Must be valid with folder access.
    4. Click "Test Access". If you see “Connection successful”, the connection is working.
      • Important: You will not be able to save the configuration until you perform this step.
      • Important: This step does not save the configuration.
    5. Select whether you want to keep all your exported reports with timestamps added, or replace them each time a new report is run.
    6. Enter the email addresses of anyone who should receive failure alerts for SFTP export. This field is required.
    7. Click Save.
