Setting up shipping label printing defaults in ShipAccel

You can select the default print size for shipping labels, international documents, ship requests, receipts, and packing slips

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

Before you begin

There are 2 different versions of the Orders screen.

• If you see this banner, then you are still using Method 1. If you click the Update Now button, then you will be switched to our new orders screen, Method 2.
  
• If you do not see this banner, then you are already using Method 2.

Method 1

1. Go to Settings​ > Print Options.
2. Select Choose default printer and print format.
3. From the Select Printer menu, choose the default printer.
   • If you select Print to PDF, labels will open as a PDF, which you can print using your browser's print option.
   • If you select a printer, labels will print directly to that printer.
4. From the Format menu, choose the default label size:
   • Roll - 4" x 6"
   • Plain Paper - 8.5" x 11"
5. If you use ship requests, repeat in the Ship Requests section.
6. If you wish to print a receipt with each shipping label by default, select Always print a receipt with the shipping label (applicable for USPS services only). If this is selected, the receipt can still be removed when printing a label.
   Note: If you select this option, the Format menu will be disabled, because the receipt requires 8.5" x 11".

Method 2

1. Go to Settings​ > Print Options.
2. Select the Ship Orders tab.
3. Under Label Printing Method, choose how labels printed from the Ship Orders tab will print:
   • Print to PDF, or
   • Print directly to printer
4. Choose the default print size for each item you print.
5. If you wish to print a Summary Receipt with each shipping label by default, select Print with shipping label. (Optional) Select Customize to choose what information appears on your Summary Receipts.
6. If you wish to print a Packing Slip with each shipping label by default, select Print with shipping label. (Optional) Select Customize to choose what information appears on your Packing Slips.
