Sharing a DeviceHub in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise

Administrators can share a DeviceHub with particular locations, divisions, or the entire enterprise/organization. When a DeviceHub is shared, individual users will not need to activate it.

Administrators can share a DeviceHub with particular locations, divisions, or the entire enterprise/organization. When a DeviceHub is shared, individual users will not need to activate it. By default, DeviceHubs are shared with the default location of the user who added them.

Note: The Share DeviceHub With Other Locations Role permission is required in order to access this feature.

  1. Select Settings > Printers & Scales.
  2. Click on the name of the DeviceHub you wish to share.
  3. Under Share with Other Locations, choose whether you want to share it with the entire Enterprise, or specific Divisions or Locations.
  4. If you selected Division or Location, choose the desired division(s) or location(s) from the menu that appears.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.
