SendPro Enterprise version 8.63.0 Release Notes (March 10, 2025)

Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

The following headline enhancements have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

ConnectShip Upgrade

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

ConnectShip was upgraded to enhance USPS Server and ERR.

UPS API Master Carton Shipment Support

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

UPS API shipments using UPS Worldwide Economy (WWE) services can be grouped into a Master Carton for better processing and shipping to a UPS Export Facility. By consolidating multiple shipments, this feature improves logistics management and streamlines international shipping. Each shipment within the Master Carton is assigned a MasterCartonID, providing better tracking and traceability throughout the shipping process.

Support for FedEx Surround Monitoring and Intervention Services (FedEx FSMS)

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

These services improve shipment tracking, security, and handling based on specific needs. Users must run FSMS version 20.08 or later to use these services.

DHL XML-PI-Break Bilk Express (BBX) Support

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Support was added for DHL Break Bulk Express (BBX) shipments using the consolidated workflow in the Warehouse app. This update allows you to process bulk shipments efficiently. BBX shipments do not return rates, and tracking is limited for mother shipments. You must ensure proper DHL account configuration and update SendPro Enterprisesettings to enable this functionality.

FedEx API: Added Surround Services to SendPro Enterprise

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

FedEx Surround Service Levels were integrated into SendPro Enterprise, supporting M1–M4 service codes.

CS Returns API Enhancement

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Return shipments are now supported within our ICS Courier integration.

ICS Address Validation

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Address validation is now supported by ICS Courier in SendPro Enterprise.

ICS Produce EOD Manifest Outputs

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Enhancements to support the retrieval of the End-of-Day (EOD) manifest file from the ICS Courier. The ICS Courier API connector has been updated to fetch the manifest file directly from the carrier. A stored procedure update was also required to return the list of manifest IDs.

Refresh tokens were implemented to continue using Dropbox with the Data Management App (DMA)

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Dropbox has switched to short-lived access tokens by default. As a result, your API key may expire daily. To ensure uninterrupted access, it is recommend to implement refresh tokens in your application, for seamless access renewal and improved security.

Commercial Invoice modified to display Freight Costs

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Freight costs will now appear on commercial Invoices generated by carriers.

Correct label size to be sent to carrier

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved the issue where the selected Output Label Stock type was not correctly applied when sending to the carrier.

UPS API No shipments to void in the request period

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

You will now see all error messages from the carrier response when a shipment fails.

HS code mapping to SendPro Enterprise

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved the issue where the HS Code was not passing to SendPro Enterprise. Field mapping was modified to ensure HS Code transmission at the item level.

Hazardous Material Label Code updated

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

• Hazardous material label codes, such as POISON, can now be excluded when shipping certain items via FedEx ground services. This is particularly important for shipments following DOT Special Permit (SP) packaging guidelines.

• A new Boolean field was added to the Pierbridge Request schema that allowing you to send <SpecialPermitPackaging>TRUE</SpecialPermitPackaging> in the request to Label Master, ensuring the required shipping information is excluded from the label.

• This change ensures that the label code or description is excluded from the shipment label in accordance with FedEx regulations, ensuring compliance with FedEx’s ground shipping requirements for hazardous materials.

FedEx WS surcharge Peak is now DEMAND

Users will now see the following surcharges in the charges screen: 

• DEMAND (Formerly known as PEAK)
• DEMAND_ADDITIONAL_HANDLING (Formerly known as PEAK_ADDITIONAL_HANDLING)
• DEMAND_OVERSIZE (Formerly known as PEAK_OVERSIZE)
• DEMAND_RESIDENTIAL_DELIVERY (Formerly known as PEAK_RESIDENTIAL_DELIVERY)

Support for Dynamic Third-Party carrier account numbers on warehouse orders to SendPro Enterprise

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

SendPro Enterprise now supports the reference TPC –Third Party Carrier Account Number for shipments created from warehouse orders.
