PitneyShip Release Notes for version 1.105.0 (May 29, 2025).

Products affected: PitneyShip®

What's New

New Flex plan offer during cancellation

We have improved the subscription cancellation process by providing users the option to switch to the Flex Plan—an alternative with no monthly fees—before finalizing their cancellation. When users select specific cancellation reasons, they will now see a dialog with two choices:

  • Yes, Switch to Flex Plan
  • No, Cancel My Subscription

The dialog message has been updated to read:

Special Offer: No Monthly Fee… Stay with PitneyShip without paying a monthly subscription.

If users choose to switch, they will be prompted to log in again to confirm the change.

Latest Updates

New information icons to guide users on battery shipping

We have added helpful information icons to make it easier to ship batteries with UPS and FedEx. Users can now quickly access battery shipping guidelines directly from each carrier’s website.

For UPS, since there is no special service for shipping lithium batteries, we have placed an information icon under the Packaging field that appears when UPS is selected as the carrier.

For FedEx, which does offer a specialized service for shipping lithium batteries, we have included direct links in the service description. Additionally, we updated the Help icon for FedEx’s lithium battery service to include important packaging and declaration requirements.

You can find more details by visiting the official shipping pages.

New information icons added to the Print Stamps: Envelope screen

Users will notice several improvements to the Print Stamps: Envelope screen, including:

  • Info icons have been added next to the Envelope Size and Weight fields to provide quick guidance.
  • A non-dismissible message now appears below the envelope size options, informing users when printing is not available for envelope sizes #9 and #10 and when to use a Stamp Sheet or Stamp Roll instead.
  • A direct link to the supply store has been added, making it easy to purchase Stamp Sheets or Rolls as needed.

New information icon added for Single Payer users adding Carrier accounts

We have introduced an informational message icon on the Add Carriers screen for users with Single Payer FedEx and/or UPS accounts. These users are unable to add their carrier accounts if they are using the Pitney Bowes discounted rates. The message reads:

"FedEx, UPS, and USPS discounted rates are automatically included with your subscription. To add your carrier accounts, you need to upgrade to an Enterprise plan."
Information icon stating that Single Payer users cannot add their own UPS/FedEx accounts

This message will only be displayed to Single Payer users and will adjust automatically based on whether the user has FedEx, UPS, or both.
