"UNSR" message on scale in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise

If you see the message "UNSR" on your scale, the scale may not be on a level surface, or there may be an issue with its power source.

Issue

The message "UNSR" is displayed on your scale model 397-A, 397-B, 397-C, 397-D, or SL-397-D.

Cause

The scale may not be on a level surface, or there may be an issue with its power source.

Solution 1: Check scale placement

Ensure that the scale is on a hard level surface, free from vibrations.

Solution 2: Reset the power source

If the scale is connected via USB , unplug the USB cord and plug it back in If the scale is battery operated, replace the battery.
