PitneyShip Pro Release Notes for version 1.117.0 (November 21, 2025).

Products affected: PitneyShip® Pro

What's New

Manual cancellation of shipment labels

A new feature allows users to manually mark shipment labels as Cancelled by User to keep records accurate when carrier restrictions prevent voiding. This option is available for DHL Express, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Users can cancel or void a label directly in the system without using the carrier’s API in cases such as expired carrier void periods, unsupported API cancellations, or operational needs.

If the action occurs within the carrier’s allowed void period, the label is marked as Voided; otherwise, it is marked as Cancelled by User. When cancelling, the system displays a confirmation alert noting that the carrier may still accept the package and charges may apply if shipped. Once cancelled, the shipment is removed from active and shipped lists.

Payments Methods page

Admin users now have access to the Payment Method settings page to add credit cards, set a primary card, and assign a secondary card. A menu displays available USPS or other PB rates carrier accounts, defaulting to the first in the list. When a carrier account is selected, admins can add a credit card specific to that carrier, and each card is tied exclusively to the selected account. Admins can assign the same or different cards across multiple locations by selecting each carrier. A 3% fee applies to each credit card refill.

Restrict Shared Contact Management

A new control has been added to the Sign-In Security page at the subscription level to manage shared contact permissions. This includes a checkbox labeled Restrict Shared Contact Management. When enabled, no user or admin, regardless of access level, can modify shared contacts. Once this option is activated, the checkbox is removed from the Contacts page to ensure consistent enforcement of the restriction across the subscription.
