Improved printing experience
We’ve updated the printing process to make it clearer. If DeviceHub isn’t installed, buttons now read Print Label to PDF or Print Stamps to PDF to show PDF printing is available. For Stamp Rolls and Envelopes, you’ll see reminders to install DeviceHub, sign in, and ensure your printer is online. DeviceHub is required for rolls and envelopes.
If DeviceHub is offline, messages will explain that printing is disabled or limited to PDF until DeviceHub is opened. If DeviceHub is online but your printer is offline, you’ll see prompts to connect and turn on your printer. For scales or dimensioners that are offline, hover messages will remind you to sign in to DeviceHub and connect your devices.
Finally, the DeviceHub Printer Not Detected screen has been removed for mailing flows.
Automated installation for PitneyShip Cube USB driver
We’ve simplified the setup process for the PitneyShip Cube USB driver. If the driver isn’t installed and you click Setup PitneyShip Cube in the DeviceHub installer, the installation will now happen automatically. Previously, you had to download and install it manually, but with this update, it installs itself with a single click.
