Setting up the Orders screen behavior in ShipAccel

You can customize the behavior of the Order screen in several circumstances, including:

• How orders open by default
• What happens when a search matches only one order
• Whether the weight is captured automatically from the scale when scanning orders
• Which screen opens after printing from full page view

How orders open by default

1. Go to Settings > Admin Options.
2. Under Orders Page Customization, select the Open Orders In menu and choose how you want orders to open by default.

What happens when a search matches only one order

You can configure how the system behaves when a search or scan on the Orders screen matches only one order.

1. Go to Settings > Admin Options.
2. Under Orders Page Customization, select the desired option from the Orders Page Search Behavior menu:
   • Show single result in sidebar: Opens the order in the side panel on the right
   • Show single result in full page view: Opens the order in full-screen view. This is the default.
   • Show single result in table: Shows the order in the Orders list

Note that when searching from the full-page Orders screen, the order will always open on the full page screen.

Whether the weight is captured automatically from the scale when scanning orders

To have the package weight captured automatically from the scale when a scan opens a matching order, select Automatically get weight.

Which screen opens after printing from full page view

You can choose which screen you land on after printing a label from the full page view.

1. Go to Settings > Admin Options.
2. Under Orders Page Customization, select the After Printing from the Full Page Order View menu and choose which screen you want users to see after they print a label from the full page view.
