Customizing the Bill of Lading and shipping label format for freight shipments in PitneyShip Enterprise

You can customize the format of the Bills of Lading and shipping labels used for freight shipments.

You can customize the format of the Bills of Lading and shipping labels used for freight shipments.

This article only applies to the warehouse fulfillment version of PitneyShip Enterprise.

    1. Select Settings > Documents.
    2. Select Upload Document.
    3. To customize the Bill of Lading format, select Default (Bill of Lading) 8.5x11" Template.
    4. To customize the Shipping Label format, select Default (Shipping Label) 8.5x11" Template.
    5. Open the file and edit it as needed. Save it with a .tpl file extension.
    6. Drag your edited file onto the box where it says Choose .tpl or drag and drop here, or click on the box and choose your file.
    7. Select Upload.
    8. Enter a Document Name.
    9. Select the Document Type.
    10. Select Save.
    11. To assign the document to a carrier:
      1. Go to Settings > Carriers.
      2. Select the Edit Carrier icon next to the carrier you wish to add it to.

      3. Select the Document tab.
      4. From the Add Documents menu, choose the document(s) you wish to use for this carrier.
      5. Select Save.
