Before starting with Mailstream On Demand you should familiarise yourself with the dashboards and features of Mailstream On Demand to allow you and your users to make the most out of your Mailstream On Demand product.
How to navigate the jobs and mailpieces dashboard
The main dashboard
The main dashboard provides a centralized place to view, track, and manage jobs and mailpieces. You can also submit new jobs and schedule reports.
In addition, the main dashboard provides a view of the status of all current and past jobs and mailpieces through the tiles along the bottom of the screen. If you need to find something specific, you can quickly search and filter by channel, date range, or time zone.
You can view mailpiece details by selecting the JOB NAME in the mailpiece or jobs dashboard.
Select Mailstream On Demand > Overview to return to the mail dashboard at any time.
The jobs dashboard
You can view the status of your jobs from the jobs dashboard.
Select Jobs Dashboard from the main dashboard. You can also access specific status of jobs in the jobs dashboard from the tiles at the bottom of the main dashboard.
The mailpieces dashboard

You can view the status of your mailpieces from the mailpieces dashboard.
Select Mailpieces Dashboard from the main dashboard or access specific status for Live or Test mailpieces via the tiles at the bottom of the main dashboard.
How to navigate the jobs and mailpiece dashboards
The mailpieces and jobs dashboards allow you to view and check the status and history of your jobs and mailpieces.
What can I do from my dashboards?
- Filter the mailpiece or job list to enable finding the relevant job or mailpiece. To do this use the filter menus and search box at the top of the list or select Filter and the filter menu will appear. Click on the arrows next to the filter you want to apply to make the selections necessary and the select Apply.
- From the jobs dashboard select the JOB NAME to view mailpieces in the mailpieces dashboard.
- Use the scroll bar below the list to see columns to the right of the screen.
- View the details of a particular mailpiece in the list by selecting the arrow on the left side to open it.
- Delivery ID: Your dispatch (Jupiter) delivery ID
- 'USPS' Tracking number
- View address update.
- Billing ID: Production centre unique response file ID
- 'Unique' job reference agreed during onboarding.
- Mailpiece ID: unique ID for every mailpiece.
- View the CASS code and NCOA code for your mailpiece. See related topics below for CASS and NCOA code description tables.
- Sort the list by clicking on the column headings with arrows. Click the same heading again to reverse the sort order.
- Narrow down your search results by selecting a date range, for example 'Last 7 days' or a time zone from the relevant menus above the list.
- Select the
icon for Production status or USPS status when available.
- Select the production status
icon for more detailed mailpiece production status information including Live and Test mailpieces.
- When available click on the
to access the USPS status that shows scan facilities, date / time, and the scan details.
- Select the production status
- Select the mailpiece icon
to view and download the mailpiece. You can scroll through documents, zoom, and download. Optional- Select Export Report, Download mailpieces.
- You can select the columns menu to toggle the columns that you want to see or do not want to see in your list.
- Refresh your list after applying changes to filters or menus by selecting the refresh icon.
