Adding a division or location in Mailstream On Demand

Divisions are subsets of your enterprise, which is the topmost level of your organization. Each division can contain multiple locations within it.

In Mailstream on Demand, your company or organization is represented by the "enterprise" name at the topmost level. The enterprise can be subdivided into "divisions", which may correspond to business units within your organization. Each division can then be further subdivided into "locations".

Locations are sub-subsets of divisions. Each division can contain multiple locations. At least one division must already exist in order to create a location. Only the Pitney Bowes Team @ pbmod-help@pb.com can add, edit or delete locations.

Please note: Only the Pitney Bowes Team @ pbmod-help@pb.com can add, edit or delete divisions or locations.

Default divisions and locations will be established during initial set up of your Mailstream on Demand product and be available to you from the start. If you have specific requirements relating to your divisions or locations set up, please contact the Pitney Bowes Team @ pbmod-help@pb.com.

Divisions and locations allow the Pitney Bowes Team @ pbmod-help@pb.com representative to:

  • Assign users to a specific location
  • Give users permission to perform admin tasks for specific divisions or locations
  • View reporting data for individual divisions or locations
  • Give users permission to view reporting data for specific divisions or locations
