Enhanced DeviceHub visibility and Admin controls
Following feedback on the feature Retain Printer Defaults across workstations, updates have been made to improve DeviceHub visibility for admins. Previously, admins could only see DeviceHubs associated with their own workstations, which limited visibility across locations and disrupted daily operations.
With the updated behavior, when Hide DeviceHubs connected to other workstations is enabled, and Show only My Devices is unchecked on the My Devices page, Enterprise, Division, and Location Admins can view all DeviceHubs and their associated peripherals across the hierarchy. Admins can perform management actions such as rename, edit, delete DeviceHubs, and upload DeviceHub logs for all visible devices.
However, usage permissions remain unchanged: Admins can only use the DeviceHub associated with their own workstation for printing and weighing. Other visible DeviceHubs are view-only and cannot be used for print or scale operations
