PitneyShip Enterprise Release Notes version 1.124.0 (April 22, 2026)

PitneyShip Enterprise Release Notes for version 1.124.0 (April 22, 2026).

Products affected: PitneyShip® Enterprise

What's New

Enhanced inline validation in Shipping workflow

The shipping form validation has been improved to provide clearer and more consistent inline error handling throughout the shipping process. Users will now see field-level validation messages for all required shipment details, such as line items, sender and recipient information, weight and dimensions, carrier, and service, before printing a label.

Additional validation has been added for carrier and service selection, including specific errors when All Carriers or All Services are selected. These error messages clear automatically once valid selections are made or after a successful print, while still allowing users to continue rate shopping. Inline validation has also been added for Dimensions and Weight fields, ensuring users are prompted with clear errors if they attempt to rate shop or print without providing required values.

This only applies to the warehouse fulfillment version of PitneyShip Enterprise.

Latest Updates

USPS Hazardous Materials for Ship Order Imports

Previously, USPS hazardous materials (Hazmat) options were not available in the Ship Orders CSV/Excel import process. As a result, bulk shippers could not configure Hazmat shipments. With this update, users can now select USPS Hazardous Extra Services and specify the hazardous material type directly through the Ship Orders CSV/Excel upload. Three new columns have been added to the import template for USPS shipments: Hazardous Material, a required field to define the material type, and Hazardous Material – Restricted Electronic Devices. When a file containing hazardous service data is imported, the Hazardous checkbox is automatically selected in the Ship Order UI.

Stamps dashboard enhancements

Several usability improvements have been made to the Stamps dashboard based on feedback. The card titles on the Stamps landing page have been simplified to Sheet, Roll, and Envelope.

Brief help text has been added below each option to guide users. Sheet notes that stamp sheets are required, Roll displays setup guidance based on whether the user is a Cube or non-Cube user, and Envelope explains that stamps can be printed directly onto an envelope.

A new Pitney Bowes Supplies Shop link has also been added with the text, “Purchase stamp sheets, printers, rolls and envelopes from the Pitney Bowes Supplies Shop.” The link is only visible to users whose subscriptions include the Manage Supplies feature.

Commercial Invoice support for DHL Express international documents

We have added support for generating and printing Commercial Invoices for DHL Express international document-only shipments. When users create an international DHL Express shipment with the Document Only option selected, the system now automatically generates a Commercial Invoice. Item details are filled with default values that can be edited as needed.

The option to print the Commercial Invoice appears in the Select Print Items section of the Print modal and is enabled by default in a disabled state, ensuring the invoice is always printed with the shipping label. Reprinting a label will also regenerate and print the Commercial Invoice.

A Commercial Invoice is generated only when all of the following conditions are met: the shipment is international, the Document Only checkbox is selected, and the shipment weight is greater than 5 kg.

Improved Address Verification for abbreviated entries

A small enhancement has been made to the Address Verify API to improve address validation and processing. Previously, addresses entered with common abbreviations, such as “Rd.” for Road or “Apt.” for Apartment, were accepted by users but not properly handled by the API. The API now recognizes and processes these abbreviations correctly.

Future‑dated USPS SCAN form generation

Users can now generate and print USPS SCAN Forms for future shipment dates directly from the SCAN Form screen. Users can select a future ship date using a calendar picker, and the system will generate a compliant SCAN Form for that specific date. This enhancement ensures shipments scheduled in advance can be processed smoothly without delays on the ship date.
