DeviceHub Release Notes version 1.11.45.3 (June 4, 2026)
Products affected: DeviceHub
What's New
Proxy Support in Compatibility Checker
The Compatibility Checker tool has been enhanced to support proxy server configuration for Windows environments. Users can now set up proxy details directly within the tool using the new Set Up Proxy Server option, allowing all compatibility checks to run through the configured proxy.
If the proxy settings are invalid or unreachable, the tool shows specific proxy-related errors, making troubleshooting easier. Once configured successfully, the option updates to Proxy Settings, and the active proxy address is displayed.
Users can then run standard compatibility checks and receive pass/fail results as usual. This enhancement is available on Windows only.
Latest Updates
DeviceHub Role-Based Access Control
Support has been added for managing DeviceHub actions through custom role-based permissions. Two actions, Delete DeviceHub and Upload DeviceHub Log, are now controlled by dedicated permissions.
Admins users can enable or disable them for users with the USER role or any custom role. When disabled, the corresponding icons are hidden from the My Devices page.
DeviceHub Certificate update
The Root CA certificate used for DeviceHub activation has been updated to replace an expired certificate that previously blocked successful activation. To support this, the DeviceHub Agent now shows a certificate renewal prompt when users upgrade from an older version.
The prompt will continue to appear at system restart or when the device reconnects until the update is completed. Clicking Continue starts the certificate update, after which the message will no longer appear.
Existing activated DeviceHubs will continue to work without interruption. New installations of the latest version will automatically include the updated certificate and will not display this message.
This update applies to Windows OS only.
Improved DeviceHub identification
DeviceHub identification has been enhanced across the application to improve clarity and reduce confusion. Previously, only the Hostname was shown, which made it difficult to distinguish between multiple devices sharing the same name.
With this update, the DeviceHub Serial Number is now displayed alongside the Hostname, providing a unique identifier for each device. This makes it easier for users to recognize and track DeviceHub status.
The improvement is applied across all relevant screens and messages, including info, alerts, and error notifications
