PitneyShip Enterprise Release Notes version 1.126.0 (June 4, 2026)

PitneyShip Enterprise Release Notes for version 1.126.0 (June 4, 2026).

Products affected: PitneyShip® Enterprise

What's New

Atlas carrier support

Atlas Delivery Service is now available for PitneyShip Enterprise customers, allowing easy account setup. Users can select Atlas for domestic shipments, view accurate rates for multiple local delivery options (1–6 hours), and generate labels, tracking numbers, and customs documents.

Key features include support for single and multi-piece shipments, label reprint, shipment cancellation (user-initiated), and generic manifesting. However, tracking updates, shipment voiding, pickups, drop-offs, return labels, and additional services are not supported.

Mail request

A new Mail Request feature has been added to help users create standardized mail slips with unique IDs and scannable barcodes. Users can access this feature through a new Mail Request page, the Stamps menu, or a link on the Stamps cover page, and generate mail slips as 8.5 x 11-inch PDFs.

Each mail slip includes a unique, non-editable MailRequestID and can display up to three barcodes for cost account and job IDs with predefined prefixes.

Users can also track and manage requests through a new Mail Request tab in History, where they can mark items as processed, filter by status, and export details to CSV. This feature is available as part of an add-on plan.

Default Print to PDF for Scan Order

The Scan Order workflow has been improved for new users by setting Print to PDF as the default option for shipping labels. This means users no longer need to configure a printer before printing.

Previously, new users were prompted to set up a printer through a modal before they could print labels. With this update, they can immediately generate labels using the default PDF option, making the process faster and easier.

This only applies to the warehouse fulfillment version of PitneyShip Enterprise.

Latest Updates

Address Verification enhancement

The Address Verification flow has been updated to give users more flexibility. When the system suggests an alternate address, users can now choose the Use Original option to continue with the address they originally entered, even if it contains invalid or mismatched details (such as ZIP code, city, or state).

If users select Use Original, the system bypasses address verification and proceeds with the shipment. A clear disclaimer is shown to highlight potential risks and inform users that they are responsible for any fees caused by incorrect information.

This enhancement applies only to domestic shipments within the U.S.

State/Province condition in Automation Rules

A new State/Province condition has been added to Automation Rules, allowing users to create rules based on specific location values. This enhancement enables more precise, location-based shipment processing and routing, making automation more flexible and efficient.

Enhanced Postal/ZIP Code Conditions in Automation Rules

Automation Rules have been enhanced to make Postal/ZIP Code conditions more flexible and easier to manage. Users can now enter multiple ZIP codes in a single rule using comma-separated values and use partial matching options like Starts With for broader geographic coverage.

The update also improves handling of ZIP codes entered with or without spaces, reducing the need to create duplicate rules and simplifying setup.

Shipment Limits search enhancement

The Shipment Limits page now includes a search feature that helps users quickly find carrier-related configurations. Users can search by Carrier Name or Carrier Account Name, making it easier to locate specific records without manually scrolling through large lists.

This only applies to the warehouse fulfillment version of PitneyShip Enterprise.

Surcharge Handling update

Surcharge handling during order creation has been updated to ensure all applicable additional fees are always applied. In the Special Services window, the Additional Handling and User Charge surcharges are now automatically selected by default and cannot be deselected.

While the surcharge section remains visible for transparency, the options are locked to prevent any changes, ensuring consistent and accurate application of charges.
