Setting the feeder timeouts on the SendPro MailCenter 1000, 2000, and 3000

Set the feeder timeouts to specify how long you want the feeder rollers to run for when feeding envelopes through your meter. These timeouts help protect your meter from unnecessary wear and keep the meter safe if you step away.

1. Select Settings from the Home screen.
2. Select Hardware.
3. Select Feeder.
4. Select which timeout you want to set.
   
   • Start feeder rollers when Start is pressed: Select the check box to make the feeder rollers run when you press the Start button in Run Mail.
   • Feeder rollers timeout: Select edit and then select either Let rollers run until stop is pressed or Stop rollers after: 5 sec to 30 sec. Drag the button along the slide bar to adjust the timeout.
   • Waiting for envelopes timeout: Select edit and then select Stop machine immediately after rollers stop, Wait for envelopes after stop is pressed or Wait for envelopes for: 1 sec to 5 min. Drag the button along the slide bar to adjust the timeout.
5. Select OK to accept any changes you have made.
6. Select Home to return to the Home screen.
