Enabling or disabling the postal information upload warning and setting the threshold on the SendPro MailCenter 1000, 2000, and 3000
Products affected: SendPro® MailCenter 1000, SendPro® MailCenter 2000, SendPro® MailCenter 3000
You can enable or disable the postal information upload warning and set the threshold for when the warning occurs.
If your meter has a good network connection, it attempts to upload postal information automatically when the screen saver is present, when you shut down the meter down and when you access Manage Accounts. You can also upload postal information manually through Funds or Run Mail after using tracking services or through the postal information upload warning.
The postal information upload warning appears when the postal information files reach a specific threshold. The warning is enabled by default.
- Select Settings from the Home screen.
- Select System.
- Select Postal Information Upload.
- Select the Enable Postal Upload Warning check box to either enable or disable the warning.
- To adjust the threshold, drag the button along the slide bar. Use the + and – buttons to adjust your selection with precision.
- If you have a slow network connection and uploads are slow, lower the threshold. The upload warning appears more frequently.
- If you have a fast network connection and uploads are fast, raise the threshold if you feel the warnings are appearing too frequently. This allows the meter to create more files before the warning appears.
- Select OK to save your changes.
- Select Home to return to the Home screen.
