SendPro Enterprise version 8.70.0 Release Notes (July 11, 2026)

Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

Summary

Version 8.70 focuses on safer hazardous materials processing, stronger FedEx REST API reliability, a carrier naming update, and platform/security maintenance. This release includes hazardous materials contact handling improvements, SaaSTrans v9 support, security dependency updates, and a series of customer-impacting fixes across rating, shipping, tracking, returns, and application compatibility.

Carrier Changes

UPS Freight (UPGF) is now TFORCE Freight (TFIN)

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

UPS Freight (carrier code UPGF) has been renamed to TFORCE Freight (carrier code TFIN) to reflect the carrier's current branding. No action is required; existing shipments and rate groups referencing this carrier are automatically updated.

Hazardous materials contact handling

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Dangerous goods and hazardous materials shipments now use the Location's Hazardous Helpline Contact details for signatory and emergency-contact information across the FedEx REST API, FedEx Web Services, and the UPS API, instead of the Sender user's details. This provides clearer compliance alignment with the designated hazardous contact for the shipping location.

FedEx REST API reliability improvements

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

FedEx REST API behavior has been strengthened across rating, shipping, tracking, returns, address mapping, large multi-piece shipments, and service selection. Notable updates include freight special-service rating, improved default unit handling, address line 3 support, repaired tracking links, Ground / International Ground service filtering, and additional support for Ground Economy endorsements and repair shipment export reasons. UPS Worldwide hazardous materials rating

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

UPS Worldwide hazardous materials rating now uses carrier-compliant packaging details, aligning rate behavior with successful shipment processing.

SaaSTrans v9 support

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The SaaSTrans integration has been updated to support the v9 API, including the tracking identifier returned during shipment booking.

View App download filtering

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

View App download filtering now recognizes both standard release versions and hotfix-style four-part versions, so users see the correct app compatibility results.

Security hardening

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Dependency updates have been applied to CMB Bridge and Message Replay as part of ongoing security hardening.
