PitneyAnalytics Release Notes version 1.129.0 (August 5, 2026)
Products affected: PitneyAnalytics®
What's New
Enhanced User Export report with improved Cost Center information
The User Export report has been enhanced to provide more complete and accurate cost center information for users. Previously, the export included the Default_Cost_Account_Name field, but the associated values were not always populated correctly. To improve data accuracy, the underlying data retrieval logic has been updated to ensure the correct cost account names are retrieved and displayed.
As part of this enhancement, a new field, DefaultCostAcctCode, has been added to the User Export report. This field was not previously available, limiting visibility into user-specific cost center codes. To align with existing naming conventions, the field formerly known as Default_Cost_Account_Name has been renamed to DefaultCostAcctName.
With this update, both DefaultCostAcctName and DefaultCostAcctCode are populated whenever valid cost center information exists for a user, providing more complete and reliable cost center data in exported reports. This enhancement applies to both SSO and Non-SSO user export reports, ensuring a consistent reporting experience across all user types.
Enhanced Activity Audit Logging for authentication and User Access Management
The Activity List (Activity Audit Log) now provides improved visibility into authentication and user access management activities. It captures unsuccessful login attempts with key details such as failure reason, timestamp, user information, and available source information. The audit log also tracks user role management actions, including role creation, updates, deletion, assignment, and removal. These enhancements provide a centralized, searchable audit trail that strengthens security monitoring, compliance, and governance.
New Analytics menu and Custom Rating Class management
A new Analytics menu is now available in for eligible users. This menu provides access to tools for uploading, managing, and maintaining Custom Rating Class mappings through either CSV imports or direct table editing, making it easier to organize and manage rating class data.
In addition, the Spend Summary Report now supports grouping data by Custom Rating Class, allowing users to analyze spending based on their configured rating class names.
Latest Updates
Enhanced PDF branding and footer options
This release updates PDF export settings to provide greater control over report branding and footer content. Custom logo options for PDF reports are now available only to eligible users, while all users can continue generating PDF reports without any changes to existing functionality. Eligible users can choose to display no logo, the Pitney Bowes logo, or their organization's logo.
In addition, a new Footer Note option allows users to add custom text to supported PDF exports. This can be used for organization-specific information, legal disclaimers, or standardized messaging. The footer is optional, supports plain text only, and appears in the designated footer section of PDF reports, helping organizations create more consistent and professional exports.
Expanded Surcharge rule support
The Add Surcharge Rule feature has been enhanced to support all active client-defined job types. Users can now create, edit, and manage surcharge rules for any available job type, including newly created job types, rather than being limited to Seal Only and Permit. Existing surcharge rules will continue to work as expected, providing greater flexibility while maintaining current functionality.
