Latest Updates
Managing DeviceHub access with role-based permissions
Enterprise administrators can now control access to DeviceHub through a role-based permission called Allow Usage of DeviceHub. This permission determines whether users can access DeviceHub features within shipping workflows, including functions such as retrieving weight and dimensions, using connected printers, and accessing certain DeviceHub management options. The permission is automatically enabled for existing users who already have DeviceHub access to help ensure a smooth transition. When access is not granted, DeviceHub-related features are unavailable, and users see a message directing them to contact their administrator. This enhancement gives organizations greater control over DeviceHub functionality, helping improve security and ensure that shipping tools are available only to authorized users.
Printing summary receipts with more supported printers
DeviceHub now supports 4x2 and 4x3 summary receipt sizes, allowing more compatible label printers to appear in the Summary Receipt printer list. Supported devices, including Zebra label printers, Brother QL-1100 and QL-1110 printers, and PitneyShip Cube printers, can now be identified and selected for printing summary receipts. This enhancement gives you more flexibility when choosing a printer and makes it easier to print summary receipts using supported devices within your shipping workflow.
