Tapes are not sealing on the SendPro MailCenter 3000, SendPro P 3000 or Connect+ 3000

Issue

There is insufficient E-Z Seal solution being applied to gummed tape.

Cause

The moistener brush may be dirty.

Resolution

Clean the moistener brush assembly if there is insufficient E-Z Seal solution being applied to gummed tape.

1. Open the printer cover.
   
2. Ensure the tape seal lever is in the wet position.
   
3. Move the front blue handle to the right.
   
4. Pull the brush assembly out of the meter.
   
5. Take the brush assembly to a sink and rinse it thoroughly with water.
6. Dry the brush assembly and replace it back into the meter.
7. Close the printer cover.
