PitneyShip Release Notes version 1.133.0 (November 4, 2026)
What's New
Filter shipment History by shipment status
The new Shipment Status filter makes it easier to find shipments based on their delivery status. Users can select one or more statuses, including In Transit, Delivered, Out for Delivery, Exception, and Return to Sender, to narrow their Shipment History results. When exporting Shipment History, only shipments matching the selected statuses are included.
Expanded UPS shipping and international services
UPS shipping now offers more options for international shipments, returns, shipment monitoring, and paperless processing. New capabilities include UPS Premier for enhanced shipment monitoring, UPS Worldwide Economy for lightweight cross-border ecommerce shipments, and additional special services for regulated items such as alcohol, tobacco, plants, seeds, perishables, and diagnostic specimens.
International shipping enhancements also include UPS-generated Certificates of Origin, customizable Commercial Invoice declaration statements, and the ability to upload supporting PDF documents when using Paperless Invoice. Users can also receive email notifications for UPS return shipments and configure a company name for UPS MyChoice notifications.
For eligible shipments, UPS Mobile Barcode provides a label-free shipping option by generating a mobile barcode instead of a shipping label. The barcode can be displayed, printed, downloaded, or reprinted from Shipment History.
Flexible Billing options for FedEx and UPS shipments
Users shipping with eligible FedEx or UPS accounts can now choose who pays for shipping costs and, for international shipments, duties and taxes. The feature is available for users with their own FedEx and UPS accounts for both domestic and international shipments, and for PB Rate accounts for international shipments only. Depending on the eligible account and shipment type, costs can be billed to the Sender, Recipient, or Third Party, and shipping costs and duties and taxes can be billed to different accounts when applicable. Billing options automatically adjust when shipment details change, helping ensure only relevant billing information is entered.
Latest Updates
Improved Mobile experience for Payment Methods and Mailing services
Payment Methods and Mailing Services are now easier to use on mobile devices, iPads, and other smaller screens. The Wallet, Usage Preferences, and History areas automatically adjust to different screen sizes, while Stamp Sheets, Rolls, and Envelopes have improved layouts for service details, error messages, and drop-down values. These updates provide a more consistent and user-friendly experience across supported devices.
Pay-As-You-Go plan
PitneyShip now offers a Pay-As-You-Go plan. Your current plan stays the same unless you choose to switch, so you can change when it works for you.
The Pay-As-You-Go plan has no monthly subscription fee. Instead, a usage fee applies to your shipping and mailing transactions. You can add Ecommerce Plus and Certified Mail Plus for a fixed monthly rate, and you can add user seats for a monthly fee per seat, up to 50 seats. If you switch, the add-ons that match your current plan are preselected, and your existing users carry over.
To review your options, select your profile name > Manage Subscription > Change Plan. You see the plan details and your Estimated Monthly Total before you confirm, and you can keep your current plan any time before the change takes effect. After you switch, the Orders tab does not appear in the PitneyShip mobile app.
Important: Once your plan change takes effect, you cannot return to your current plan.
Transportation Reference field for DHL Express shipments
DHL Express shipments now support the Transportation Reference field, allowing users to add and manage internal shipment reference information. The field is available when creating labels, ship requests, and ship orders. Transportation Reference information is saved with the shipment and can be viewed in shipment details and history. It is also included when exporting shipment history to a CSV file.
Enhanced EU De Minimis customs support for USPS
EU De Minimis customs support has been enhanced for USPS shipments entering EU27 countries from outside the EU. Users can now provide additional product identification and customs information, such as product IDs and EU customs clearance exemption details. For eligible USPS shipments, users must also identify the shipper and recipient as a business or consumer. EU De Minimis item details are available in Shipment History and exported shipment data, making it easier to review and manage customs information.
Save and Apply shipment presets from the Order Grid
Users can now save, access, and apply shipment presets directly from the Order Grid, making it faster to configure single or multiple orders. Presets can automatically populate shipping details such as the carrier, service, packaging, dimensions, and weight, and can include the recipient address for single orders when saved with that option. Users can also create new presets directly from the Order Grid for future shipments. Presets must match the shipment type, so domestic presets cannot be applied to international shipments and vice versa.
