Troubleshooting tips

If you see the message "Some required ports are unavailable" or "Some checks could not be completed", it means that your system is not compatible with DeviceHub because either a port or one or more URLs that DeviceHub needs access to are being blocked. You will need to contact your IT department to make sure that all of the ports and URLs listed in the DeviceHub Networking Requirements and Technical Specifications are available.

If you see the message that Port 443 is already in use by another process, it may mean that DeviceHub is already installed and running on your computer. You can check by going to Start > All Programs and looking for DeviceHub. The compatibility checker tool should only be used if DeviceHub has not yet been installed.
