Pitney Bowes Presort Services announced today that its Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) Transportation team has received the Safety Seal Award – Silver from the National Private Truck Council (NPTC), recognizing exceptional improvement in fleet safety performance.
The NPTC Safety Seal Award recognizes organizations that demonstrate a significantly improved safety record in private fleet operations. The Silver designation is awarded to terminals that achieve a 40% or greater reduction in accident frequency rate year-over-year.
The Pitney Bowes Presort DFW terminal far exceeded that threshold, reducing total accidents from 9 incidents in 2024 to just 1 in 2025, a reduction of more than 88% that placed the team well above the award criteria.
The result was led by Monica Davis, DFW Transportation Manager, who built a proactive safety culture through consistent driver coaching, reinforcement of best practices, and friendly competition across the team. Her approach helped establish a safety-first mindset that became embedded in the daily operations of the DFW fleet.
“This recognition reflects the discipline and commitment that Monica and the entire DFW driver team bring to their work every day,” said Kelsey Carter, Senior Director, Transportation. “Their focus on safety protects our employees, our customers, and the communities we serve, and sets a high standard for our operations nationwide.”
This achievement reflects the high safety standards Pitney Bowes upholds across its national network of transportation operations.
