PitneyAnalytics Release Notes version 1.122.0 (March 11, 2026)
Products affected: PitneyAnalytics®
What's New
Cost Account code filtering enhancements
To make financial reporting easier, a new Cost Account Code filter has been added across all reporting modules. Previously, users could filter only by Cost Account Name, which made reconciliation difficult for teams that rely on internal accounting codes. With this update, users can now search, select, and filter using both the code and the name. The new filter appears right next to the existing Cost Account Name filter and automatically adjusts to the selected Cost Account Type, showing only the appropriate Billable or Non‑Billable accounts.
This enhancement is available in all reports that already supported Cost Account Name filtering, including Spend Summary, Shipment Details, Refill Reports, Refundable Labels, and the Advisor Report. When both filters are used together, they apply an AND condition, ensuring results appear only when the code and name match the same record.
New Shipment Performance matrix
Shippers previously had to rely on manual calculations and multiple tracking reports to understand whether carriers were meeting their delivery commitments. To simplify this, a new Shipment Performance chart has been added to the Carrier & Services dashboard. This visual matrix provides a complete view of the delivery lifecycle, offering quick, high‑level insights for leadership while still giving operations teams access to detailed problem areas. The dashboard now displays real‑time metrics such as the percentage and count of undelivered shipments, total delivered volume, on‑time delivery performance, trends in average daily shipments and transit times, and a breakout of late deliveries. Users can also drill into detailed lists showing which packages are still in transit or were delivered late, making it easier to identify issues and act quickly.
Latest Updates
Enhanced Reporting navigation
To simplify navigation, the module now uses a vertical side navigation panel, making it easier to locate and switch between reports quickly. Additional improvements include the ability to schedule and export reports, save favorites, customize views and columns, and a UI toggle that lets users switch between the new and classic layouts. We also expanded Group By support to 16 levels in the Spend Summary Report, and reports can now be exported in Excel and CSV formats.
New Audit fields added to Surcharge rules
The Surcharge Rules interface now includes built‑in audit fields to give users clearer visibility into when a rule was created, how long it has been active, and who last updated it. Previously, this information was missing, which often made audits and troubleshooting more difficult. To improve transparency, four new columns have been added and are automatically enabled for all clients: Created On, showing when the rule was first added; Last Status Change, showing the most recent update; Created By, identifying the user who created the rule; and Modified By, identifying who last edited it. These additions provide a complete, easy‑to‑follow history for every rule.
Multi‑select filters for Average Delivery Time
The Average Delivery Time chart on the Carrier and Services dashboard has been upgraded to support multi‑select filtering, making it easier to compare performance across different carriers and service levels. Previously, users could only choose one carrier or one service at a time, which limited side‑by‑side analysis. With this update, users can now select multiple carriers, such as UPS and FedEx, and view their transit times together. They can also choose multiple service levels, like Ground, Next Day Air, or Priority Mail, to compare how similar services perform across carriers. Both filters work together dynamically, allowing users to build highly specific comparisons, such as evaluating Carrier A – Ground against Carrier B – Ground and Carrier B – Express in a single, consolidated view.
Standardized Time Zone for Refill reports
Refill Reports now use a single, consistent time zone to make reporting clearer and easier to reconcile. All refill transaction timestamps, regardless of where they originate, are now converted to and displayed in Pacific Standard Time (PST), matching the time zone already used in Sending Reports. This update ensures that all refill data received in UTC is automatically converted to PST for viewing, exporting, and scheduled delivery. The change applies across on‑screen reports, all exported formats (Excel, CSV, PDF), and scheduled reports sent by email or SFTP. With this alignment, refill timestamps now match Sending Report timestamps, making cross‑report comparison straightforward. Note: Meter balance fields are unchanged because they do not include time‑zone information.
International services added to General Rate Increase analysis
We’ve expanded the GRI Analysis tool to fully include international shipping services for UPS, USPS, and FedEx, giving users a unified view of rate changes across both domestic and global shipments. The update introduces complete international rate cards, accurate surcharge logic, and real zone‑based pricing to replace the old dummy zone approach. International surcharges are now clearly categorized for consistency, and any new carrier‑specific fees are automatically detected. All international shipping volume is included in Total Impact calculations, and forecasts now reflect international rate adjustments. Users also gain detailed visibility into global surcharge types like fuel, peak‑season, and remote‑area fees.
