Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

HEADLINE ENHANCEMENTS

The following headline enhancements have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

Data Management. Added Customers entity.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

A new entity, Customers, has been added to SendPro Enterprise, available for import and export via the Data Management snippet.

Requisitions. Added ability to filter by cost center.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The Requisitions lookup has been updated to allow users to filter results by cost center. This is controlled by a new parameter, Filter Search by Cost Center, which when enabled will only return requisitions processed with the logged on user’s cost center. The setting is configured via Designer.

Task Scheduler. Support for new Shipments Proof of Delivery Processor task.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

A new task, Shipments Proof of Delivery Processor, has been added to SendPro Enterprise. The task checks the database for signature images on shipments requiring delivery confirmation; if not found, a signature request is generated and sent to the relevant carrier.

In support, the way in which the View App retrieves Signature Proof of Delivery (SPOD) images has been updated; where previously a request was sent to the carrier upon opening the App’s Proof of Delivery tab, the database is now checked for stored SPOD images prior to sending the carrier request. Additionally, improved the error messaging when tracking UPS API SPOD shipments in the event that the carrier does not have any tracking detail.

Data Management. Extended data elements in Shipment Transactions entity.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Additional data elements have been added to the export entity Shipment Transactions.

SendPro Enterprise Setup. Improved functionality when upgrading tenants with large user sets.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

Updated SendPro Enterprise Setup to improve handling when upgrading tenants with a large volume of users.

 

CARRIER CHANGES

The following carrier changes have been implemented for SendPro Enterprise:

SPE Freight. Added new carrier.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

SendPro Enterprise now supports the carrier SPE Freight.

 

OTHER CHANGES

The following other changes have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

Outputs. Improved logic when printing large output sets.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

To assist handling when printing large End Of Day output sets, a new parameter, Maximum Outputs Per Client Print Window, has been added to the Documents and Labels snippet. Configurable in Designer, the parameter is used to indicate the maximum number of outputs that should be included when printing End of Day documents. If a document has a greater number of outputs than the configured value, additional print windows are required.

This change corrects issues whereby larger End Of Day output sets failed to print due to browser URL size limitations.

Administration App. Updated handling of rate group cloning.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

An issue has been resolved whereby when cloning rate groups only the first page of rate group members were successfully copied to the new rate group. Additionally, an error is now returned when naming rate groups if the name already exists in the system.

SendPro Enterprise Admin. Saving changes to data now functions as expected.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

Editing data on the App Settings, Groups and Feeds pages of SendPro Enterprise Admin now functions as expected, correcting errors whereby the pages became blank upon save.

PCF. Improvements to exception handling.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

PCF exceptions are now handled in line with other carriers, correcting errors whereby unnecessary exceptions were reported in Diagnostics.

Data Management. Corrected handling of spaces during CSV import.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

An issue has been resolved whereby CSV imports failed if containing values beginning with a space.

SendPro Enterprise Setup. Updates to accepted values when configuring IdP instances.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

When configuring email settings for IdP instances, the Email Port field now only accepts numeric values. In addition, when configuring SendPro Enterprise instances for use with the IdP, any errors returned by the IdP during the tenant creation process are now displayed to the user via the output window.

HubCapp. Improved handling when configuring settings via Apps.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

An issue has been corrected whereby users were unable to save HubCapp settings in SendPro Enterprise Apps. Furthermore, additional user feedback has been added when incorrect details are entered, or when attempting to save when no changes have been made.

DHL XML-PI. Date detail now passed as expected when rate shopping.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

DHL XML-PI now returns the Delivery Date as expected when rate shopping, where previously the date element was not populated in the client response.

Users. Corrected location assignment.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

When onboarding customers from CMC, the user account is now associated with the first available location if the default profile does not specify location detail.
